Nestled among the tranquil pines overlooking Friday Harbor, Hillside House made for an unexpected gem during our recent trip. Our Parisian room came with cozy charm and peak views, crafting a perfect backdrop for family bonding after our mountain biking adventures. What truly stole the show were the hearty breakfasts prepared by Nick—his freshly baked pastries and egg-based entrees were such a delightful way to fuel our day of exploring. Nick and his parents, Naoni and Greg, welcomed us like family, sharing stories and perfectly mapping out local gems to discover. We loved unwinding on the wooden deck with a hot cup of coffee, overlooking the harbor while taking in the serene atmosphere. For anyone seeking a blend of comfort, delicious food, and genuine hospitality, I can’t recommend Hillside House enough—it's a perfect retreat for nature lovers like us!
